Tested it while playing to get my dog accustom to it. Then took him camping where there are coyotes and an elusive mountain lion(s). Although it's mainly for when I go to wolf and black bear country.
This is NOT a static symbol. This is a type of armor to protect my dogs neck. My dog does NOT wear this around town to look BA. Don't help encourage negative stereotypes people!!!
The collar lies to turn spikes down because of the weight but even the clasp is thick although lacking spikes for obvious reasons. I use a chest harness so don't need to rely on the D wring to attach to.
For extra neck protection this is awesome! To make a dog look BA because someone feels scared and insecure.....get something that won't hurt when it brushes against your leg. This is pretty sharp for posers.
I question if and how much of it is leather but it sure seems tough like leather. The look and price point just seem a bit fishy. I'm not going to cut mine apart to see. I still am very satisfied with the quality when used only for protecting the neck.
Bought it for my dog to look tough. He does but be warned if you’re sitting outside and he tries to go under your leg for pets it’s gonna tear your leg up.
Well, this message matches what I purchased however after only 45 days passed the refund date, the collar snapped in half on the buckle. **Worth the weight and value for money. Nice and thick collar [will hold a large dog]. Metal spikes nice thick, strong against other dogs bitting the neck areas…

..looks great and well made..tough material and durable..very sharp and definitely deters other dogs...
Have gotten it really wet and still has not stretched beyond what would be acceptable. Good product for a good price...id recommend it to another dog owner
