Your dog's bath time just got a whole lot calmer. The Verwohnt dog anxiety relief mat keeps dogs focused and relaxed during grooming, nail trims, vet visits, and thunderstorms — all while slowing down their eating and supporting healthier digestion. Spread peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin puree, or wet food across four distinct textured zones and watch anxiety melt away. Made from soft, food-grade silicone that's safe for the microwave and freezer, this mat is built for real life with pets.
What Makes the Verwohnt Lick Mat Different
Most lick mats offer one texture. The Verwohnt dog lick mat divides its 7.87-inch surface into four distinct 3.62 x 3.62 inch textured zones — each designed to hold a different food consistency and give your pet a varied, stimulating experience. Whether you're using freeze-dried treats, soft cheese, or liquid broth, there's a zone built for it. Clear dividers keep food separated so eating stays clean and organized.
The 47 high-strength suction cups on the back grip firmly to glass doors, tile walls, wood floors, bathtubs, and refrigerators — no sliding, no chasing the mat across the floor. For pet owners who want a reliable slow feeder that doubles as a grooming station tool, this mat earns its place in your daily routine. This mat has been a lifesaver for my Dachshund during fireworks. The licking action genuinely calms him down. The orange one is his go-to comfort item.
Compared to other options we've tried, I freeze it with yogurt the night before lasts way longer that way. It serves its basic purpose without standing out.
The four zones are great but I wish the mat was slightly larger for big dogs. I particularly like that 4-zone textured surface (four distinct 3. 62 by 3. 62 in zones) holds different food consistencies dry, wet, or liquid.
Our dog calms with this lick mat. Good quality and the suction cups work. Good for distractions.

We've used it on the fridge, the floor, and even the sliding door. Sticks great everywhere. The green one is my dog's favorite.
He sees the orange mat and starts wagging his tail. He's never been more excited about bath time. This is the best toy we've ever bought.
We keep this in our emergency kit for stressful situations. It's compact and lightweight. Good to have on hand for storms or power outages.
I use this as a cat lick mat for my two cats. They fight over the orange one. The suction cups hold steady on the countertop.

The grooved pattern traps food really well. My dog works hard to get every last bit, which is exactly what a slow feeder should do.

The suction cups are strong but easy to peel off. My dog's fur doesn't stick to it either. A well-designed product overall.
We have 3 dogs and bought the 3 pack. Everyone gets their own mat. It's prevented so much competition during treat time.
When it rains, we use this mat to burn mental energy. It tires my dog out more than a walk does. Perfect indoor enrichment.
I've told everyone in my dog group about this mat. It's a total game changer for anxious and bored dogs. A must-buy.
