Luminous Retractable Dog Leash – 3m to 5m Night-Safe Lead

The swivel clip is the best part zero tangling even when she circles around me. The glow strip is genuinely bright cars can see us from a block away on evening walks. I particularly like that Integrated luminous glow strip ensures high visibility during night and low-light walks keeps both dog and owner visible to traffic. I don't usually write reviews, but this impressed me enough to share our experience.

The retractable mechanism works but the cord could be thicker. Good for basic walks but not for strong pullers. The locking mechanism is okay. Decent for the price.

We adopted a 1 yo Corgi rescue a month ago. She is strong and tugs on her leash. I was hopeful the retractable, "heavy duty" nylon, designed to handle up to 66 lbs, would be durable enough to handle my 35 lb dog. I've had the leash 3 days and it's already torn where the leash connects to the handle. I didn't see how it happened, but it appears the leash is catching at the point it retracts into the handle. I tried melting the nylon to prevent further tearing, but that made things worse. So I'm going to cut of the torn part and try to stitch the leash back together. Giving 3 stars because the handle is comfortable, the leash retracts and returns smoothly once used a few times. Just don't recommend for strong tuggers.

Durable is an understatement, works better than I, excepted. King length, locks in place, and give you full control of use, for your pup!.

I really love this retractable leash. I own several of these, but this one has become my favorite for its light weight, ease of use with the button that controls the retractor, and snap quality. The line is lightweight, which is great for my potty training puppy to be able to roam And not get distracted. The handle fits comfortably in my hand and the button is easy to press and release you're able to brake without locking it, which is good. The snap remains functional after several weeks, which has been the problem I have had with other leashes in the past.

My puppy managed to chew through his previous leash, so I ordered this as a replacement. It’s a basic retractable leash that has been reliable and works great for our daily walks. It’s lightweight, and the lock button works effortlessly. The handle is comfortable to hold, and I haven't gotten tired even after several multi-mile walks.

The tape is the same material as the one he chewed through, so I’ll be keeping a closer eye on him to make sure it holds up.

Great for my Golden Retriever puppy, extends easily, doesn't pull hard, can lock in place, and easy to use.

Overall this leash works as expected, however I am a bit concerned about its long term viability. The ribbon could be a little wider/thicker, both to prevent it from knotting, and for durability. I think it's possible it will start to fray/wear relatively quickly. Similarly, the clip that attaches to the dog harness is not heavy duty; this also seems like a weaker point of the overall construction. Finally, the retraction functionality works, but sometimes I need to manually feed the ribbon an inch to get it going. All that said, I am still getting value out of the leash.

We have a medium-sized dog and what I love. Most about this retractable leash is that it's the perfect size leash for a day walk where it's not too big and doesn't allow the dog to go too far. So it's nice and lightweight and can fit inside your pocket when you want to. Maybe let your dog run fee. As well. easy to use seems durable. nice soft grippable handel as well.

This is my first retractable dog leash
I've had dogs my whole life and I always used a conventional leash that provide control, but doesn't allow my dog to have the "controlled freedom" that enhances the walking experience for her
The retractable dog leash gives me the control I need to let's my dog explore and the peace of mind to know that if necessary I can immediately secure my dog by bringing her closer to me
The retractable dog leash is lightweight but sturdy, is very comfort to hold even on long walks, is highly visible
The price point coupled with the "controlled freedom" my dog enjoys and the security and peace of mind I have using it make the retractable dog leash a excellent value

Very happy with this for my ~30lb dog. I like that the extendable leash is flat and not the round cord-style of these that I used to have.

It seems to be well-made, and the locking mechanism feels secure and not too cheap. No concerns about this breaking anytime soon, but will of course update the review if anything changes.

I have several of these retractable leashes. We decided to try them, and like them so much, that we never use a standard rope leash. Then our pound puppy ended up chewing through one of the leashes so we decide to get a couple backups.

Now our almost year old 70 lbs German Shepherd, husky pound puppy really test these leashes. Although he is getting better at not pulling on a leash sometimes he can’t help himself when he sees a rabbit.

This retractable leash is held up very well. The leash reels in and out smoothly and locks properly. Everything works just exactly as it should.

I would order this retractable leash again

Works perfect and hold my small dog.

This leash retracts very smoothly. It's easy to let your dog run a little more freely but maintain control when you need to. In retraction mode, it keeps some tension on the leash so that it does not drag on the ground. It's very easy to switch to locked mode when you need to quickly react and stop your dog from going further. The leash itself feels a bit on the thin side and for some reason my puppy likes to chew on it unlike his thicker leashes. So far, it has shown no signs of tearing, though. I do wish the leash was black (it's a light gray) to hide dirt, as it's already starting to look a little dingy. Overall, we're pretty happy with this leash so far and just hope it stays in good shape. I'll update this review if it does not.

Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is it’s a bit heavy. I’ve had several retractable dog leashes and this is by far the heaviest besides that, this leash is great. Good quality. Easy to use. Good length. Stylishish. Shipping was fast.

This is a nice retractable leash. It has a heavier feel than others, and it fits well in the hand. It extends to 16ft, which is more than enough to give a dog some freedom while still being on leash. You can also lock it into a shorter length by pushing the button at the top of the handle.
It is a little more expensive than other similar leashes, but the quality is better and worth the exra expense.

This leash is perfect for my small dog. It's very sturdy yet lightweight. It's durable and not cheaply made. The leash is retractable and extends to about 16 feet which is perfect. Absolutely love it!!

This item is just as described and pictured. At first I worried it wasn’t working properly because it wasn’t retracting and staying taut when my dog got nearer to me, but I think it just wasn’t “broken in” yet. After several minutes of my dog running ahead and then running back, it began functioning exactly as it’s supposed to. We have purchased a few of these from places like Ross and TJ Maxx and they tend to lose functionality within a few months. This one seems better built so I’m hoping it will last longer, yet is still a good value. I love the black and white look. My dog, for reference, is a smaller poodle mix weighing about 15lbs. He doesn’t pull too much since he’s on the smaller size. The “stop” button worked well too, which we used when we saw other dogs approaching (my dog doesn’t “dog” well around other canines, so we keep him on a short leash around others). All in all, this seems like a great retractable leash.

This Retractable Dog Leash for Small/Medium Dogs is Great. The Case is White and has a hold and brake (what I call them) on it. Easy to use and extends to 16ft of leash. The Clasp is easy to attach to dogs collar. and the leash is a thin flat line that retracts beautifully. Strong and durable, very reliable.

Works great in frigid cold weather conditions, put that to the test the first day. We got 36 inches of snow in the Northeast and Snowbelt area. This Leash stood up the to weather and frigid temperatures. Very happy with it.

Price is Great. Can't get prices like this in stores, I've looked. Highly Highly Recommend It.
Great for dogs or cats.

Works well for our golden retriever that weighs about 70 pounds. He is a good walker and does not pull much. I would not trust this on any other dog that weighs more than 55 pounds. The lever works well. Easily operated with one hand. Good quality.
