Over the past 15 years I have bought many different clippers from different companies. They worked fine the first couple times I used them and then they wouldn’t cut anything. I have a lot of cats and I have a few that get matted fur, so I like to shave them in the summertime. I decided to try these oneisall clippers. Best purchase I’ve ever made. They are so quiet that my cats don’t get scared. They shave so effortlessly. I can actually hold the cat with one hand and shave with the other. My poor baby at 15 years could not keep up with his long fur, and was getting all matted, especially underneath. He was not a good candidate for the groomer, so I watched many videos on cat grooming and purchased these clippers. They worked so well! They are powerful and quiet, easy to use, easy to disassemble for cleaning. The design is a good size for a cat, and they never ran low on charge even though I took my time and took breaks for treats. My boy was really calm throughout the process. I did my best to give him a "lion cut." He seemed much more perky without the matts!

My cat has long fur and she got matted like crazy recently. There were a total of 4 spots and the furminator brush wasn’t able to get them because they were big and close to her skin. I was a little skeptical that she would let me use a buzzing device on her because she’s very skittish. But I saw the video of the purring cat in the reviews while getting shaved with these clippers, I wanted to give it a try. And I’m sooooo glad that I did! She totally tolerated it with some help of treats and gentle encouragement. The matts are gone and this device saved me a major vet bill. Because the vet would’ve needed to sedate her in order to do what I did with this device. Every cat is different of course but it worked like magic on mine and I can 100% recommend it. Oh and I found it easier to use it without the attachments but you gotta be really careful and make sure that the cat isn’t gonna move.

I ordered these to cut my two house cats hair. Oh my goodness! I am amazed at how they did compared to others I’ve used in the past! They glided right through my long haired cats hair. Very pleased with them!
These clippers honestly work better than I expected. I have a 9 year old kitty cat with super long hair and she struggles with grooming along her sides and by her butt for some reason - she has a history of neglect from before I took her into my care, so I don't know if it's a stress thing or what, but she gets matted so easily. With winter ending and going into spring, she developed huge mats on her sides by her back legs, and any attempt from me to help her only made her aggressive and ended with me gaining a new piercing (a cat claw stuck into my nose). I called around to a few vets to see if they could help, but they said they'd only help shave her if it was under sedation and they'd only do a lion cut instead of just shaving the matted parts. Something about that didn't sit right with me because I didn't want to put my easily-stressed and very sensitive girl through the trauma of being hauled to a scary place with strangers who sedate her and shave her whole body. So I got these clippers and a de-matting brush and set to work, on the hopes of being able to fix her up slowly and without too much stress. At first they didn't seem to work because I was trying to cut into the mats too much, but the way to really do it is to make sure you're getting UNDER the mat without pulling up kitty's skin. I'd shave under a mat a little until kitty got too mad and then I'd give her a break, then later that day or the next I'd do it again, and after a few goes at this the kitty seemed to get used to the clippers and let me work on her for longer periods of time. It took two days to get one large mat off, but when the only other option was putting her under sedation to do it all at once, I'd say it's way better that I'm able to do this without the stress and trauma. The clippers hold a charge for a long time and they're very maneuverable because there's no cord to work around. I can bring the clippers to the kitty wherever she's decided to lay instead of trying to wrangle her to stay in a specific spot. It may take some time and patience, but even the most sensitive cats CAN be groomed with these clippers. Just don't pull on the mats too much because it'll pull kitty's skin and then you'll have an agitated cat on your hands. Try to just slide the clippers under the mat a bit at a time. Even when I'm not able to see exactly what I'm doing or when kitty flails around, the clippers haven't nicked her at all. So they seem pretty safe. I use them on the lower power setting and they still have enough oomf to get under the mats that are tight and close to the skin. The higher power setting is louder and more startling but I haven't had a need to use it just yet. If you have a matted cat and need to shave them - maybe give these clippers a try before shelling out the hundreds of dollars to have a vet sedate them and do it.

Almost the entirety of my cat's back was matted. He didn't fight me cleaning him up with the clippers. It only took couple of quick passes and his matted fur is gone. The noise didn't startle him, nor did passing the clippers along his back and matted fur. Cheaper than what is available at PetsMart and PetCo. The art on the box is cute, too, cuter than my ugly shaved cat.
