Make sure you are careful around mats because it will grab them and pull out attached hair.

I have a Pyrenees. It’s that time of year. I was brushing constantly and just basically grabbing the top coat. Once I got the deshedding brush it was a game changer. She’s still shedding, but it is nothing compared to what it was. It also works on my long haired cat.
