Feeding multiple pets or maintaining precise meal schedules requires constant attention that busy lifestyles don't accommodate. Single-compartment feeders can't provide separate meals at different times, while manual feeding ties you to rigid schedules that don't allow for work travel or sleeping in. This double meal smart pet feeder provides two independent compartments with programmable timing, ensuring your pets receive proper meals on schedule even when life gets hectic, with the flexibility needed for multi-pet households and complex feeding routines.

🍽️ Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Dual Compartments: Two separate meals for scheduled feeding
  • Independent Timers: Program different times for each meal
  • Smart Programming: Set precise feeding schedules for consistency
  • Portion Control: Measured servings prevent overfeeding
  • Multi-Pet Compatible: Perfect for households with multiple animals

🔄 Dual Meal System for Flexibility

The two separate compartments allow you to schedule breakfast and dinner at different times, maintaining a proper twice-daily feeding routine that supports healthy digestion. Each compartment opens independently at its programmed time, keeping food fresh and separate until needed. This dual system is far superior to single-compartment feeders that can only dispense one meal, requiring you to manually refill for the second feeding.

The separate compartments are also invaluable for multi-pet households where different animals need meals at different times. Feed your cat breakfast at 7 AM and your dog at 8 AM, or provide separate portions for two cats who eat at different paces. The flexibility accommodates various feeding schedules without requiring multiple feeders. Explore our complete smart dog feeders collection for more automated solutions.

⏰ Programmable Timing for Consistent Routine

The easy-to-program timers allow you to set exact feeding times for each compartment, ensuring your pets eat on a consistent schedule that supports healthy digestion and reduces anxiety. Pets thrive on routine—knowing when to expect meals eliminates stress-related behaviors like excessive begging, counter surfing, and early morning wake-up calls. The reliable timing means your pets never experience the confusion and distress of missed or late meals.

The automatic operation maintains feeding schedules even when you're working late, traveling for the weekend, or simply want to sleep in without being woken by hungry pets. This consistency is especially important for pets on prescription diets or those requiring specific feeding schedules for medical conditions. 🎯 Portion Control Prevents Obesity

The measured compartments provide consistent portion sizes that prevent overfeeding and support weight management. Many pets will overeat when given unlimited access to food, leading to obesity and related health problems. The automatic feeder's portion control removes the guesswork and temptation to overfeed, helping maintain your pets' ideal weight through precise servings.

The controlled portions are valuable for multi-pet households where one animal may dominate food access, ensuring each pet receives their appropriate share. The scheduled feeding also prevents the constant grazing that can lead to digestive issues and weight gain. For advanced feeding options, check out our 3L app-controlled smart pet feeder.

🏠 Perfect for Multi-Pet Households

The dual compartment design solves the common challenge of feeding multiple pets with different schedules or dietary needs. Use one compartment for your cat's breakfast and the other for your dog's breakfast at a different time, or provide separate meals for two cats who need different portion sizes. The independent operation ensures each pet gets their meal at the right time without interference.

The system also works perfectly for single pets who need twice-daily feeding but whose owners have unpredictable schedules. Set breakfast and dinner times once, and the feeder maintains the routine automatically regardless of your availability. The reliability eliminates the stress of rushing home to feed pets or asking neighbors for help. Browse our complete pet feeders collection for more solutions.

🧼 Easy Maintenance and Cleaning

The removable compartments lift out easily for quick cleaning, maintaining hygiene with minimal effort. The smooth surfaces don't trap food particles or develop odors like porous materials, making spot cleaning between washes simple. The straightforward design has no complex mechanisms that complicate cleaning or break easily.

The durable construction withstands daily use and repeated cleaning without cracking or losing functionality. The food-safe materials ensure your pets' meals remain uncontaminated, while the simple assembly makes setup and maintenance accessible even for those not mechanically inclined. Automatic food dispenser

When working long hours in the office/running unplanned long hours, I can feed my dog. It is very easy to set up and is great for portion control. I would def recommend this to anyone with a dog/cat. It has a power adapter but also takes batteries for portability.

Great Pet Feeder!

This is a great pet feeder with a ton of schedule and portion options ! If you have more than one pet, it might not put out enough food. Perfect for a single cat or dog though!

Easier setup, harder to clean compared to other units

This feeder is the third automatic feeder I've tested, and it's also the easiest to configure.

I used Meow Mix as the food to test it since it's one of the chunkier and varied-shaped cat foods. It managed to push out the 13.5mm food pieces with relative difficulty and uneven dispensing; I would increase the number of portions to accommodate this issue for chunky foods. (As with all automatic dispensers, "manually feed" it when first filled a few times to fill the empty cavity scoops, or the first few meal times will be nothing.)

As with most feeders, this one is a pain to set up, but less so because of its easy-to-read display and helpful videos on the product listing page. It took me about 10 minutes.

It's pretty stable when filled with food; I suspect it could handle a cat jumping on it - as long as it wasn't a running jump.

It is a bit harder to clean than other models because it has fewer removable parts, but this shouldn't be a huge issue. I would also have liked to see a holder on the lid to place a desiccant packet.

Fantastic for a day or 2 away for our cat!

Ok got this for a brief 2 day trip away for our cat to be taken care of. (He doesn’t care for other people nor other animals so this was the perfect fit). The initial set up is a tad time consuming but well worth it as you can set the portion, how many times a day and at what times to feed your pet. I recommend putting in batteries for power outage backup so it doesn’t skip a beat just in case. This was such a big relief and much cheaper then paying someone to come feed our cat while we were away. I’d recommend this to everyone!!! Could also work for small dogs too!

Easy to use - Well designed - Up to 15 days

This is a well made well designed pet feeder. It is gravity fed and holds almost a 3.5lb bag.
I prefer this over the pre sized rotating tray portions which limit the capacity of the feeder.
Fully programmable so I can feed my pets up to four times a day. This is great because my pets love too overeat.
A big plus is having battery backup. Three D batteries seems like overkill, but is better than our animals not having food in the event of an emergency.

Excellent pet product

Using it for my dog's morning and evening meals while I work long shifts. The battery backup saved the schedule during a storm didn't miss a single meal. The investment has paid off in terms of my pet's happiness and comfort.

Great product. No complaints. Was kicked off vine unfairly so excuse the short reviews. Won't be putting in effort where it isn't appreciated.

Makes life easier!

I wanted to give myself time with this product before I reviewed it. I wanted to make sure it lasted and was worth the price. I'm happy to report, it is! I love the convenience, and ease having this! It works great both when I'm traveling and while I'm at home. It's easy to use, and just takes one more thing off my plate, so it wins with me!

Easy to use

Doesn’t hold a ton, but it was easy to assemble and use. Not too loud. Portions are very small

Easy to clean easy to set up.

We bought this for our puppies when we had them, because they were needing to be fed on a schedule and when we were at work we couldnt do it. So this was a big help for making sure they ate. The bowl took a bit to set up, but once done we just filled it and put it in their kennel.

Works well to feed my kitty

This IMIPAW automatic cat food dispenser is a fine product that works as it's supposed to, dispensing the proper portion of food at the proper time. I set it to provide a total of 1/2 cup of food to my cat in a day, with two feeding times. That and refilling the hopper is much of the work I have to do to keep my cat fed.

The programming process is fairly easy when guided by the instruction card that comes with the feeder, but there is a problem here: every time you press a button during programming it makes a loud BEEP sound. Seriously, every button push. Once the programming is done, the screen goes dim and the controls are locked, which is a nice touch.

Then again later, every time it dispenses food (which it does very well with the small kibble my cat eats in it), it sounds another BEEP. It's far too loud and annoying, but it only happens twice a day, so I'm not too bothered, I suppose.

My final concern is with cleaning, as many of the parts don't come out of the machine, and you're not supposed to splash water on it. I guess I'll have to empty as much as I can using a dry paper towel or brush, then wipe with a slightly soapy sponge or washcloth, then dry with a cloth. It's not ideal, but for the cost of the machine, it's not too bad.

I'll be using this machine while my family is on a weeklong trip, so I'll update the review afterward with how it did. We still have a family friend coming to check in, just in case we need that backup to keep our kitty fed and happy.

Keeping my fat cats in check

My cats like any other cat loves to eat and have a full bowl at all times. They have slowly and unwilling adapted to eating when their new automatic feeder is scheduled to provide them with a healthy portion. They arrive just a bit early or will come bolting inside as soon as they hear the sound of the food being delivered to their bowl.

First timers

It’s the first time I use a cat feeder and it’s super convenient. I’m still getting the hang of the portions. I wish the instructions were a tad bit more clear on what amount each portion has instead of guessing. I assume it’s a hand full? I had it on portion 2 and that’s all that came out in the video, which is a little bit. Also, it would have been nice if it stated it was 24 hour time. I had to find out with user error…

Other than that rocky start, it’s been nice. I moved the portions to 4 twice a day then will figure it out from there to see how much my cat leaves behind. The quality feels sturdy, the technology is decent, pretty straight forward with unlocking and setting times and meals. I just couldn’t get it to “lock” after i set the last meal. I just waited for the display light to turn off to “lock”. I do like the style and how modern it looks, It fits about anywhere.

This will definitely come in clutch when I leave for trips and leave my cat with my parents. Feeding him is now one less of their worries.

Great

This is perfect for the days that I work overtime and I'm not able to get home in time to feed my cat. It's very easy to set the timer and adjust the portions. Now I don't have to feel so guilty about coming home late. I would definitely recommend this.

Reliable timer function ensure that your cat receives the right amount of food

This innovative cat food dispenser is a convenient and reliable solution for pet owners who want to ensure their furry friends are fed on time, even when they're away.

One of the standout features of this automatic cat feeder is its programmable timer. With the ability to set up to four meals per day, you can establish a consistent feeding schedule for your cat. The timer function allows you to customize the portion size for each meal, ensuring that your pet receives the right amount of food at the right time.

The dispenser has a generous capacity of 3 liters, which can hold a substantial amount of dry cat food. This means you won't have to refill it frequently, saving you time and effort. The transparent design of the food storage compartment allows you to easily monitor the remaining food level, so you'll know when it's time for a refill.

The materials used are pet-safe and BPA-free, ensuring the health and well-being of your furry friend. The removable food tray and storage compartment can be easily cleaned with soap and water, making maintenance a breeze.

Nice, another option for feeding the cats, very quiet

We actually had one automatic feeder already when we got this, but wanted a second one because of the complicated nature of picky cats, one too fat and one too skinny. Anyway, this feeder does a pretty good job. The setup was no more complex than our original feeder was, although I personally find that I need to keep the instructions around for these for whenever I need to make a change, as they are difficult enough to use that trying to remember it each time is just a struggle. There are lots of options for food amounts with this feeder, and I like that the upper part is clear so you can see how much food is remaining. Our previous automatic feeder makes a very loud noise when it is time to dispense food, but this one is extremely quiet. I was sitting about 3 feet away from it today and only heard it because of the pieces of food dropping into the dish. This can either be a positive or a negative, we actually appreciate the "alarm" sound the other dispenser makes as it is a great way to keep the cats on schedule and they aren't quite so pushy for food ahead of time. My husband also uses it as his cue that it's time to get out of bed. While we won't get that from such a quiet feeder like this one, I'd guess most people would prefer a nearly silent feeder to a very noisy one.

Good size for one cat

Easy to program and a great size for just one cat. I wish it wouldn't beep so loudly before each meal is poured. It startles me every time (we live in the middle of nowhere where it is very quiet) and I hate it. I also wish you could have this on the floor but still see the display without practically laying on the floor. Other than that, it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Technology comes to the pet food dish

When I discovered this product, I realized that this gadget could solve two pet problems. The dog problem is that we have one fat dog who can't handle the free feeding necessary for his companion, the picky eater. We have gone to two small feedings a day and it is working, but we both tend to forget the second feeding until late in the evening. The time dispensing option on the feeder would be good, but with only one dish, the greedy dog might start overeating again. The dog problem requires two feeders.

It was decided the cats' problem trumped the dogs'. The aging cats can't jump to any available appropriate surfaces except a spare dresser in my husband's room which they access from the bed. However, the dresser and the food dish are on the opposite side of the bed where my husband sleeps and exits the room. He just doesn't think to look in that direction often.

I generally noticed the giant dish was empty when I realized that cats were staring at me. One by one, I'd get The Look. Finally light dawned. Usually, I noticed quickly. They only got really eerie about my ignorance after a longer period. I'd be sitting at my desk and gradually feel something creepy near, feel hairs standing up, feel something behind me. I'd turn and find all three of them sitting in the hall at the entrance to the room with the Empty Dish. They manipulated me into feeling deeply embarrassed and ashamed. Their manipulation works me the way the dogs' coyness works my husband.

The dogs are doing well in their new routine with new dishes. Food drops for two cats are scheduled for four times daily in the feeder. So far, so good. No stares, no creeping up on Mommy. The old guy has his own little hangout on my desk. He has a low glass of ice water and a bowl of his own cat food next to his basket. He's doing fine even when he's too weak-legged to get to the other cat food.

I was anxious about setting up the device, fearing confusing instructions or those ridiculous all pictures/no words sheets that make no sense. and reveal nothing. After I convinced my husband to set it up, I went to the Amazon listing to see if it was as bad as I thought. The directions, videos, and reviews were clear, concise, and helpful. Then when I saw the back of the feeding chart, I realized with those directions, I could have done it, no problem. It turns out my husband got interested in bull riding on TV and did nothing. Later we set the timers out together with few problems.

I really like the new system. We are using the cord, without backup batteries, because, unlike our end-of-the-line home in the mountains, the electrical service here is reliable. After reading other reviews, I saw the comment about the lid being difficult to open. I decided to test it. I had no luck. Even squeezing the container between my knees, I couldn't open it. I was concerned.

I asked my husband how it worked for him and he said he hadn't opened it. He took hold, lifted the edge slightly, and turned. It opened. He put it on again for me to try. Nothing. I think I'll just set the top on there, unsealed—maybe tape one side as a hinge. This would be one strategy to keep the giant Mountain cat from raiding from above.

Together we agree this unit will be a game-changer for feeding pets here. If nothing else, I can see the food level in the vertical container as I pass in the hall. But now I also know I will be spared the evil eyes for neglect. Nobody goes hungry here—all get their share. I get the feeling this was a good decision to handle common problems many others share. I recommend this automatic feeder as a solution to many of them.

I like the 1 Tbps portion control

Pros:
- Easy to set up and program. Took less than 10 minutes to unbox, put it in its place, load it, set the time, and set the feeding schedule.

- Portions are based on 1 Tbps. We feed out cat wet food which will not work with this automatic feeder. However part of the calories we account for is snacks a couple times a day. So we'll be using this feeder to dole out treats around the usual snack time when we're away.

Cons/Neutrals
- The dish does attach to the dispenser. But there is no locking mechanism. Little inconvenient at times.
- Little on the more expensive side. There are less expensive models available; I can't speak to how those might or might not work. But at the current price (north of $70), you're entering into the price of lower end WiFi enabled feeders.

Desperately needed for vacation!

I desperately needed these for vacation! We have four cats and going to be gone for four days lol so I had to make sure we had enough feeders for a while we’re gonna! These are fantastic ! They feed the cats every 6 hours and since I have 3 I only need 1 more feeder so they will all have enough food while we’re gone!
This was super easy to set up ( literally 3 D cell batteries ! ) you can also plug in the power cord too so you have a backup !) also setting up the food dispenser timer and amounts are very easy also !
