Portable Folding Pet Camp Bed – Outdoor Travel Mattress

I got the standard size (24”) on sale for my 12lb dog. At first she was interested and jumped on by herself, but subsequently only used it reluctantly on command and never for more than 10 seconds. I could see that she didn’t like how unstable it was, and putting a cushioned pad on top didn’t help. Then I saw another reviewer say that they removed the “X” shaped straps in the middle to make it more of a hammock, so I gave that a try with a seam ripper and some scissors, and she now likes it much better! I don’t think this solution would work for larger dogs or the larger size beds.

I like the overall design of this dog bed because it’s elevated and the mesh allows for good ventilation on warm days. On colder days, you can put a blanket or other insulating layer on top of the bed to keep the dog warm and comfortable. I travel in a truck camper and this folds down easily and compactly- a huge plus for me. It does dip quite a bit even though it has reinforcement strips sewn on diagonally in a cross pattern, so I’m not sure if this will last over time. I bought the medium size for a 45lb red heeler mix. She likes it and will hop up on it without instruction now that she’s been properly introduced to it. Four stars only because I’m not quite sure of the long term durability of it yet…

I’m giving this five stars for the ease and durability right out of the box!! I can tell this is going to be easy to bring along while traveling for my Great Dane to have a place to rest! She will have plenty of room to stretch and lay out how she wants and the fabric seems strong!
I ordered the XL (king) for reference and my Dane is average size for a giant breed :)
We just received this today, so the durability and longevity is still in question, but with how much we travel (almost every other weekend!) we will see how it holds up in no time!!
I have tried MANY variations of travel dog beds and can already say this is the easiest one and the best quality as far as how the material feels!
Literally pull out of the bag and go! The bag is about the size of a large bag chair and doesn’t feel extremely heavy! Very comparable to the weight of a large lawn chair!
At this time, I would recommend this product to my friends and family and would buy again no questions asked!
If you’re on the fence, I say go for it! :)

My dogs love it and it’s very convenient to move it around and store it.

I have a 3yr old Siberian Husky-she’s about 60lbs. We live in the desert so I thought this would be perfect for her to use as a breed and she wouldn’t get hot- I waited several months to see how it wore because I noticed the first time she got on it. There was some give in the fabric. We are about six months out and she doesn’t sleep on it as much anymore and I think it’s because it’s not supporting her and it might be hurting her back. She now prefers to sleep on the hard linoleum floor ,so I’m gonna have to get her a different kind of bed. This bed would be good for camping trips that’s about it in my opinion.

I am a dog trainer and I use elevated pet beds for a “place” command! I have used the Coolaroo brand for quite some time now, but this is the first time I’ve tried the foldable bed.

I absolutely love it and I know my clients will too! It’s easy to fold and store (it folds just like a lawn chair!) & is great for taking your pets on the go, like camping!

The only downside for me is that it does sit up significantly higher than most other elevated beds and some dogs have shown hesitancy to jump on it.

Honestly, of all of the elevated dog beds I’ve purchased to try, this one exceeded my expectations for the price.
Bertie likes to sit in her bed and keep watch over her realm. Making sure that our horse is not acting crazy, that the squirrels are only collecting acorns near the driveway, and that delivery people are on notice that, not only is the house inhabited, but it is guarded, as well.
Now that she’s nearing 7, she likes to have an elevated position from which to do her self assigned chores, hence the Coolaroo Elevated Doggo Bed.
This is the size L(36” Bertie Gray) and it’s perfect for our space and her size.
It’s only been a week, but so far, we love it.

I bought this because we were training our dog and were taking his other bed with us everywhere we went. I wanted a bed that was easily foldable and easy to take to different places without taking too much space. It folds up like a folding chair. Which is perfect because I need the extra room in my trunk for sports equipment. Now that my dog is trained I am not sure if we still need it. The bed is elevated so if you have an older dog it might have a hard time getting up. You can see the folding bed on the right and can compare it to his bed at home.

Got these for my Great Pyrenees, they love the beds!! It’s hard to find a cot bed that’s great to bring camping in our RV, or to the beach & in a size that is big enough for them! Love that it came with its own bag like our camping chairs do!

We have only been using this at home. My 30lbs mini Aussie seems to like it. He sleeps everywhere in our home and now this is one of his spot. He tried digging and chewing on the knobs a bit and it is holding up good.

I bought this for a camping trip for my standard poodle. Set up was a breeze and my dog loved it! So convenient for trips!

We will be camping a lot in the future because we will be building a cabin. I purchased this for our senior bulldog. He loves being outside with us, but I wanted him to be elevated and comfortable! This is easily portable which makes it ideal for travel. Bulldog approved!

Purchased a 30"x30" bed. My 45lb pitty loves it! He fits just right and he looks comfortable. Overall support is sturdy and fabric seems durable. It's lightweight and easy to fold. Great for outdoors.

Rocky loved it right away and I know it'll be great for our camping trips :)

Easy to set up, appears to be sturdy time will tell! Good for car camping only it is heavy and large. Bag is a plastic weave similar to the "bed". Appears will hose off easily to clean off any mud. Little concerned about how long this will last fear the material will stretch and sag overtime more so than a true canvas. Again time will tell. But Betty seemed to enjoy the comfort!

Got this for my dog for the beach because she is always trying to sit in other people’s chairs and this was GREAT! Super durable, even got tar on it and it came right out! Comes with a slip over bag for easy travel too!

I took this camping with my 86lb Akita and it was perfect helped minimize the pitch and sap from getting in her fur. She loved it right away. This cot is cute and held up great.

This folds up like a camp chair. This is a 45 pound puppy that jumped on and off without flipping it. It keeps her cool and cleaner than if she were on the ground and is easy to shake off or hose off. Very happy with it.

We got this for camping and our back patio. Our dog understood the assignment immediately. She’ll want to go inside or find a cushioned chair to hop on rather than lay on the pavement or ground. This makes it more comfortable for her to hang out with us. It seems sturdy and it’s nice that it folds up so we can take it camping.

This thing is amazing. opens up easier than the typical camp chair and just as easy to close up. When packed up, It's similar in size to the normal camp chair as well. And it gives Scout his own space when we are with the kiddos running around. This will be accompanying us everywhere we go. The only semi-"meh" thing about it is that I wish the fabric could be a smidge more strongly stretched. Scout is about 55lbs and he's drooping a bit more than I would like. But he has done well with it overall! Fabric is a durable mesh like feel and it does feel like quality material. We've had this one for about a month in this picture. Dirt wipes right off! I also travel for work and take him with me so having this portable bed brings a bit of comfort of home with us on our travels. I would recommend!
